Pet Policy

Screening Policy

Eastern Sunbelt utilizes PetScreening.com to screen household pets, validate reasonable accommodation requests for assistance animals and confirm every resident understands our pet policies. To facilitate the screening and validation process, Pet Screening offers our applicants and residents help in managing pet and animal records. Eastern Sunbelt manages property for many owners with a variety of preferences. Some properties allow pets and others do not. Please look closely at the listing to make sure it will meet your needs.


All future residents and all lease renewals are required to create a PetScreening.com profile, even if there is not going to be a pet on the property. If a pet will reside on the property, upon completion of the PetScreening.com profile, a Fido Score will be generated for each pet. The Fido Score determines if your pet can be accepted . See our fee schedule and list of restrictions below.

Fees Schedule

  • Applicants and Residents are responsible for the PetScreening.com profile fee and annual renewals.
     

  • Pets with a FIDO score below 3 and pets weighing over 75 lbs. are not accepted. No more than three pets in a single family home or two pets in an apartment will be accepted.
     

  • If a pet is accepted monthly/per pet rent will be added to the lease agreement. This does not include the PetScreening.com fees.

    • First Pet: $50 Month

    • Additional Pets: $25 Per Pet Per Month
       

  • There is a one time $250 non-refundable pet fee per pet at move in.

Restrictions

Pets with a petscreening.com FIDO score below 3 and pets weighing over 75 lbs. are not accepted. Dogs that are either mixed or purebreds of the following are restricted (Breed restrictions are based on property insurance policies and subject to change):
